Meet the team at the Sensory Space Dans le Noir ?, located at 40 Rue Quincampoix, not far from the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, who will warmly welcome you to experience unique sensory and human experiences in total darkness. Sensorial workshops themed around perfume, wine, and blind tasting are offered in small groups of 4 to 9 people, encouraging interaction between participants.

Without visual judgment, the perception of flavors, smells, and textures becomes more intense. This experience also allows us to reassess our relationship with the world and with others.

Wine in the dark

By offering wine workshops in total darkness, the Sensory Space invites participants to step outside the boundaries of a traditional tasting. By removing the sense of sight, the other senses are awakened and allow for a new way to understand wine. The experience becomes multi-sensory! Touch, smell, taste, and even hearing are engaged to explore a wine and the role of the terroir that shaped it. One must trust their senses to truly understand wine beyond labels and journey into the heart of the land.

Darkness helps focus on a product’s essential qualities by naturally revealing a taste, an aroma, a texture, or a scent. It frees the voice, allowing deeply emotional content to surface.

Workshop The Wine Without a Label

During the experience, participants will taste 5 original wines from very different terroirs. A sensory journey awaits them, guided by a visually impaired sensory expert, who will lead them throughout the workshop in total darkness. Carried by the voice of their guide, the guests will travel through various terroirs and stimulate their imagination through multiple sensory clues that help them understand the wines in a fun and open way. A surprising workshop filled with delightful discoveries...

At the end of the experience, participants will discover the wines they tasted in our lit space.
