The Espace Sensoriel Dans le Noir ? Paris: a friendly and intimate venue

We welcome you in the heart of Paris, between Châtelet and Beaubourg, to experience sensory workshops in complete darkness! Meet us at 40 Rue Quincampoix, only 30 meters from the famous Dans le Noir ? restaurant, where the Sensorial Space team will greet you warmly. Workshops are held in small groups of 4 to 9 people, offering the ideal setting for a meaningful and convivial moment in a calm, serene environment. Without vision, other senses are free to express themselves more easily.

Participants take on the role of blind taste testers, trying to identify and interpret different textures, scents, flavors, and aromas. It’s a sensory exploration through a selection of original and surprising products. A unique experience to enjoy with family, friends, or as a couple!

A first step into darkness

Upon arrival, we take the time to explain the sensory experience ahead. After removing all luminous (phones, watches, cameras…) and bulky items, participants will meet their sensory facilitator, who will guide them into the dark and accompany them on their journey of the senses throughout the workshop.

They will embark on a unique sensory adventure, sharing a friendly moment with the other guests. Absolute darkness truly liberates speech!

The pleasure of tasting

During the “Pleasure of Tasting” workshop, participants focus on the organoleptic qualities of five dishes and two drinks (alcoholic or not), selected from our Dans le Noir ? Sensory Boutique: a gourmet shop that selects its products in complete darkness for their flavor and originality. Products awarded the Dans le Noir ? Blind Tasting Awards. Naturally, we accommodate any allergies (gluten, lactose, nuts…) or dietary restrictions for a safe and enjoyable tasting.

At the end of the experience, guests return to the light and the team presents the products they tasted. Recovered vision brings some surprises!

We are also happy to answer any questions participants may have. They leave with a renewed outlook on themselves, others, the senses, and difference!

The workshop is also suitable for children.
